  • Our goal was to have the “Scene In Black" initiative amplify Black voices and stories but also solidify HBO's position as a trailblazer in promoting diverse perspectives within the entertainment industry. In support of this, I contributed to the strategic partnership strategy featuring talent from HBO's programming to execute custom content campaigns aimed at amplifying Black stories and talent, aligning with the initiative's core mission.

  • I assisted in the marketing promotions of the national launch parties, managing both social media and talent relations. As a result of these efforts, we saw a turnout of over 300 VIP talent attendees on average, elevating the events to unforgettable experiences and enhancing HBO's reputation as a platform that celebrates diversity and inclusion.

  • I developed social media strategies designed to integrate the brand messaging of our partnership marketing campaign materials, thus enhancing the collaborative initiatives' overall impact. A prime example of this were the Twitter watch parties.

    We aimed to drive audience growth and raise awareness by hosting watch parties on Twitter Spaces. I selected episodes from popular black programming on HBO Max that generated the most conversation online, and ideated the watch parties live events with the participation of the respective program's cast, who answered questions from the audience and shared unknown fun facts about their experiences on the shows. This initiative enhanced community engagement and increased visibility for the platform.

  • The successful partnerships and social media strategies paved the way for continued growth and impact, leaving a lasting impression on both audiences and stakeholders alike.
